Sustainahouse was a project that created a safe, sustainable space for University of Missouri students interested in environmental issues. There was an emphasis on maintaining environmental, economic, and social sustainability.
The current home was built in 1903, an historic property of Columbia with a garden plot and compost area. The property is owned by former Sustain Mizzou member/President and co-founder of Columbia Center for Urban Agriculture (CCUA), Adam Saunders.
The project also used to maintain a blog about their living environment and community.
